Victoria Park, named in honour of Queen Victoria, is located on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River. Victoria Park is a great park for a picnic and then a game of baseball, cricket or horseshoes. This park provides access to the pathways along River Valley Road, which are perfect for walking, running, biking or in-line skating.

Victoria Park Pavilion Building

The 3,337 square foot Pavilion serves as a year-round hub in the River Valley, providing a location for outdoor activities and a space for the use of community and sport groups.

Victoria Park has 6 picnic sites available for reservation during the summer. Site #2 is also available during the winter. Tables are available for drop-in (no fee) use. Additionally, group reservation site tables that are not reserved in advance may be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis.

We accept cash, debit, credit (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), or cheque (payable to the City of Edmonton). Minimum 4 hour reservation is required.

Canopied Picnic Sites: $38.95/hr

Non-canopied Picnic Sites: $29.85/hr

Borden Park Picnic Sites: $29.85/hr

  • All sites canopied, no fire pits or grills onsite

Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Sites 1 and 9: $38.95/hr

  • All sites non-canopied, reservation includes ball diamond
