The Walterdale Bridge spans the North Saskatchewan River, connecting the intersection of Queen Elizabeth Park Road and Walterdale Hill to the south side with 105 Street to the north.

Traffic Notice - October 2017

Starting October 10, Walterdale Bridge will be reduced to two lanes for one week to pave the north connections to River Valley Road. Drivers can anticipate travel delays.

Walterdale Bridge Fully Open

The Walterdale Bridge opened the third lane of traffic and the west sidewalk on Friday, September 29. The bridge initially opened to traffic on September 18.

With both vehicle and pedestrian/cyclist traffic now on the new bridge, access to the old Walterdale Bridge is completely closed for demolition. Kinsmen traffic to new bridge will continue to exit using the existing road as the access is realigned.

The new shared-use path on the east side of the bridge will open later this fall.
