Your preschool, elementary, junior high, or high school students can enjoy hands on interactive learning at City attractions and recreation facilities.
The City Arts Centre brings creative experiences to your classroom! Hands-on activities allows students to explore and express themselves visually, create and communicate.
Visit the Edmonton Valley Zoo and get a little wild! The programs offered at the Zoo encourage children to question, explore and investigate by nurturing their natural sense of curiosity.
Discover nature in the city! The John Janzen Nature Centre offers programs and activities that encourage awareness and understanding of the natural world.
John Walter, one of Edmonton's foremost entrepreneurs, played a unique role in the development of our city. Students will learn about John and his family and practice traditional skills that were required for early Edmontonians to survive and thrive.
At the Muttart Conservatory, kids will experience hands-on activities that complement their curriculum objectives. Where else can you travel from the deepest, darkest jungle to a desert oasis, to a shady forest retreat and still be back in time for lunch?
Physical literacy and positive recreational experiences lead to a healthier, happier life. Through participation in our Recreation Centre programs, students will gain the confidence to stay Active for Life.
Looking to refresh your curriculum development this school year? How about booking one of our swimming pools for your class! Our swim programs are a great way to encourage an active lifestyle, and give your class the opportunity to learn important swimming skills while gaining confidence in the water.
