Exploring Opportunities
The Boyle Street and McCauley Neighbourhood Renewal Project Team has been having conversations with your community and has reviewed public input from the December 2020 Visioning survey. We have been learning about how you walk, roll, bike, drive and gather in your community and would like to further explore some of the opportunities we have been hearing about.
The feedback you provide will be used to shape the renewal design for streets and public open spaces in the Boyle Street and McCauley neighbourhoods.
Public Engagement Opportunity
Please complete the Exploring Opportunities survey and share your thoughts on neighbourhood renewal! The survey is available from April 1-23, 2021.

Volunteer for Neighbourhood Renewal
We invite residents, business owners and others with an interest in improving Boyle Street and McCauley to participate in the Neighbourhood Renewal Community Committee.
The group will brainstorm design ideas, discuss how best to connect with residents and others and review communication materials. We expect about 8 meetings to be held between January 2021 and June 2022. Meeting times and days will be decided by the committee.
If you are interested or require more information, please contact the Project Coordinator for Boyle Street or McCauley.
About the Project
Neighbourhood reconstruction rehabilitates residential roads, replaces street lights, sidewalks, curbs and gutters and adds missing sidewalk links where possible. Other opportunities to improve how people walk, bike, drive and gather in the neighbourhood and how they enjoy City-owned parks and open spaces are also explored.
A series of public events will be scheduled by the project team which will give residents the opportunity to build a project vision and guiding principles together and provide regular feedback on the different stages of the project including design.
Cost sharing opportunities will be made available through the local improvement process for sidewalk reconstruction and decorative street light upgrades in the neighbourhood. Arterial roads and alleys are not included in the scope of work.
