The Phase 2 Parking Ban resumes on Monday, January 10. As of 7am, vehicles in residential and industrial areas must be moved off of the roadways to allow crews to effectively clear the snow. Edmontonians can view an interactive online map to confirm where crews are operating and which areas have been cleared.

Benefits to planning ahead
Peace of Mind
When a death occurs in any family or among friends, the grief can be tremendous and healing can take a very long time. Prearrangement can have a positive impact on your family and friends simply because they know you have made your own decisions. This provides peace of mind well beyond dollars spent.
A family or couple can share their choices and decide together, therefore saving loved ones heartache, expense and added stress at the time of death.
On a prearrangement basis, a family burial estate and/or funeral merchandise can be selected by all family members guaranteeing everyone’s satisfaction.
Based on the last five decades, we know the costs of cemetery and funeral arrangements will continue to increase. Prearrangement allows the cost to be frozen at today’s prices.
Conservation of Insurance
Life insurance is for the living, not the deceased. Most life insurance is purchased to allow a family to adjust to the loss of income that a death causes. If prearrangements are not made, a large amount of insurance proceeds can be spent on cemetery and funeral items, adding to the financial burdens of the loved ones left behind.
Funeral, cemetery and memorial costs are expenses that every individual must plan to pay. These needs can be met today out of current income through interest free payment plans. Payment in full for plots and services is required before services are provided. Payment arrangements can be made by preauthorized debit. There is no interest or administration fees on plans for up to three years.
