Starting September 20, in compliance with the newly announced Government of Alberta health protocols and restrictions, indoor interment services at Mount Pleasant cemetery's indoor niche and Edmonton Cemetery's mausoleum will be restricted to a maximum of 10 visitors.

At South Haven, the land is rolling and provides for a creative and truly beautiful arrangement with a wide selection of cemetery plots.

The City of Edmonton chose the site for the South Haven Cemetery in 1985. Located in the Maple Ridge Industrial neighbourhood, the cemetery was officially opened by the City in 1988.

South Haven is one of the City’s two Premier Cemeteries, with a focus on growth and an expansion plan which spans the next 40 years.
