License Information Course

This is a mandatory course for anyone applying for an Escort or Body Rub Practitioner licence. There is no fee.

The information session is held Thursdays from 10am-2pm. The course provides an overview of all the employment standards, regulations, laws, rights and important health information that apply to those working in adult-oriented businesses.

You may apply for your business licence the same day you complete the course. To apply for your licence please bring a current Criminal Record Check which is no more than 90 days old from the Edmonton Police Service and one piece of government issued ID with photo.

Interpreter Services
Due to operational considerations, interpreter services will only be available on the second training session each month: August 19, September 16, October 28, November 25 and December 16.
If you want interpreter services during the course, you will have to sign up for those specific dates.

You MUST be pre-registered for this course at least 24 hours in advance in order to attend. Any registrations received later than noon on the day prior to the course will be accepted only as course availability permits. If you have any questions or concerns about course availability please email AdultServices@edmonton.ca and someone from the team will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
