Alberta Data Partnership (ADP) now provides parcel mapping datasets or related products for purposes other than City business.

We provide a range of Edmonton and surrounding municipalities mapping data through our Open Data Portal, Map Desk service and Alberta Data Partnership (ADP).

Available products include:

Utility data in a cohesive package
Aerial imagery
Edmonton area maps in PDF format. Single line, available at various scales.
Legal roadway base and curbs maps showing a large area at a small scale, and depicting block, driving surfaces and street names. Ideal for planning applications or when applying for a temporary sign.

Mapping Data Products

Most data products can be found for free on our Open Data Portal in shapefile format (.shp).

Email mapdesk@edmonton.ca if you need map information packaged, customized or provided in Microstation (.dgn) or AutoCAD (.dwg) formats.

This information is available to City-hired contractors only under a limited-use license agreement.

Information is available in Microstation (.dgn), Autocad (.dwg) format, or Shape file (.shp) formats. We can also customize maps to meet your needs.

Aerial Imagery

You can access aerial imagery products in various ways.

Access City orthographic aerial photography data through the open data portal.
Access historical Aerial Photographs on the City Archives website. Our collection dates back to 1924.
We can provide aerial imagery to meet your needs, available in PDF format.
Products include: Area specific; entire city; and Edmonton and area (imagery outside of the City of Edmonton is captured through ESRI base mapping.)
