Information on current projects affecting off-leash areas.
Dunluce has been chosen to undergo neighbourhood renewal and is currently in the planning stages. A new design is being proposed for the Off-leash Area at Orval Allen Park. Citizens can share their feedback on the final design in Spring 2024. For more information about this project, please visit Building Great Neighbourhoods - Dunluce.
Construction of the Pleasantview Dog Park is now complete and the permanent fencing has been installed. The park is once again open to the public. For more information on the neighbourhood renewal in this area, visit Building Pleasantview.
Park renewal work has started in Hawrelak Park. Starting June 2023, access to the Hawrelak Trail off-leash area will be only from Buena Vista Park footbridge from the west or from Saskatchewan Drive to the east. For more information about this project, please visit Hawrelak Park Rehabilitation.
