The City offers curriculum-based school tours, presentations, group programs and workshops at 2 locations: the Reuse Centre and Edmonton Waste Management Centre.
DIY Thursdays are free workshops featuring local experts that focus on building skills to help you reduce waste! Past DIY Thursdays have included: Bike repair workshops, gardening workshops and sewing.

| Nov 23 | Junk Drawer Reorg Join Professional Organizer Kaytlyn Beakhouse to learn strategies for decluttering, identifying items for donation and getting organized. We encourage you to bring your junk drawer! Either slide it into a pillow case for transport and bring the whole drawer, or place the contents in a tote bag and just bring the tote with you. |

Bring your class to the Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC)! These 2 hour long tours provide an in-depth look at what happens to our waste, and how we can all work together to send less waste to the landfill. Suitable for Grades 4 to 12.
