Each of Edmonton’s Transit Centres acts as a hub for several bus routes, providing an easy way for transit customers to transfer from one bus to another, or in some cases, from a bus to the LRT.

Curb ramps provide barrier-free access between roadways and sidewalks to Transit Centre platforms. All shelter buildings at transit centres are equipped with power operated doors to provide barrier free access. Larger accessible shelters are provided at many higher passenger locations. Various transit centres are also equipped with TTY telephones and benches with armrests.

Free Park & Ride and barrier-free parking stalls are available at Belvedere, Clareview, Eaux Claires, Heritage Valley, Lewis Farms, Meadows, and Stadium Transit Centres.

There are also accessible public washrooms at Belvedere, Castle Downs, Century Park, Eaux Claires, Heritage Valley, Jasper Place, Kingsway/RAH, Lewis Farms, Meadows, Mill Woods, Northgate and South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park Transit Centres.

Meadowlark Transit Centre is now closed in preparation for Valley Line West LRT construction. However, Route 924 will continue to use bus stop 5303 in the former transit centre.

As of April 25, 2021, ETS is no longer referring to Lakewood as a transit centre, since it lacks amenities common at most transit centres around the city. Routes 509, 512, 513 and School Special Routes 642, 661 will continue to use bus stops at the former transit centre.
