The Edmonton Valley Zoo is home to more than 250 animals, focused on conservation, and offers fun and education for the whole family.
We are embarking on the next phase of our Enclosure Renewal and Enhancement Project, which focuses on modernizing habitats for Lucy and our carnivores.
Hours are effective May 9 - September 7, 2026.

The last admission window is an hour prior to closing time. The zoo will be cleared at the closing time listed.
Annual members receive unlimited admission during regular public hours for a year from the date of purchase.

The cafe offers espresso crafted beverages, tea, cold drinks, and blended drinks. Sandwiches are available as are many delicious cafe treats, along with non-coffee items including pop, juice, and lemonades.

A classic hot menu with lots of goodies available, including ice-cream novelties, fresh and bagged popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate bars, refreshments and even some healthy alternatives!

Location: Meltwater Play
Take a spin on the conservation carousel! Each of the carousel animals represents an endangered animal that calls the zoo home. All proceeds will be donated to conservation programs supported by the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Riders must be under 50 inches (127cm) in height. Location: Near camel exhibit
Back on track! Hop onboard the miniature train and take a spin around the zoo.
