Dr. Anne Anderson Community Centre, located in southwest Edmonton, is a premier location for recreation and arts programs.
Featuring premium gymnasium space, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, elevated running track and rooms for rentals and programming, whatever your goals, whatever your experience, you'll find what you need to feel confident and strong inside and out at the Dr. Anne Anderson Community Centre.
The community centre is operated by the City of Edmonton in partnership with Edmonton Public Schools under the City's Joint Use Agreement.

Gym Bookings
There are 2 gymnasiums available for booking at Dr. Anne Anderson.
Capacity: Small bleacher seating for approximately 75.
Supported Sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Pickleball. Most "no-equipment" activities are supported.
Note: Non-marking indoor footwear required.

Hosting a Private or Corporate Function?
At Dr. Anne Anderson Community Centre, there are spaces to rent on weekends, evenings and some school breaks.
Hourly Rate: $62
Capacity: 50 guests

Guidelines
We have recently renovated our dance/yoga studio. Please note the following expectations to maintain the quality of this space and to ensure your safety:
- This is an open floor amenity (no chairs, tables, or other furniture permitted).
- We have a spring floor. No tap shoes or other outdoor/indoor shoes permitted. Users of this space must be in bare feet or wear socks or soft-soled ballet shoes only. Yoga mats are allowed.
- No food or beverage permitted at any time.
- Bags, purses, sealed beverage containers and other personal items should not be placed on the floor. Items must be placed in the cubbies provided.
Hourly Rate: $62
Capacity: 35 guests (seated)
Amenities:
- Open floor area
- Folding tables and chairs available for pre-booking
- Temperature between 18-22 degrees Celsius
Guidelines:
- No food or beverage without prior approval.
- No storage available.
- Only shoes with non-marking soles allowed; no tap shoes.

Capacity: 12 guests
Amenities:
- Boardroom table and chairs
- Curtains for privacy
Availability:
- Monday-Friday: 5-10pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 7am-10pm
Music Licensing: SOCAN and Re:SOUND
If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.
