Our drop-in child minding services provide a fun and safe environment for children to be active while parents and caregivers enjoy the recreation facility.
A range of supervised activities is provided including puzzles, books, crafts, painting, colouring, games, music, songs and an array of physical activity opportunities.
Child minding is available for up to 2 hours for patrons of the facility. Parents or caregivers must remain in the facility while children are in child minding, and cell phone contact is required.
The City of Edmonton has partnered with The YMCA of Northern Alberta to provide child minding services in City facilities.
Child minding services are included with your child or family annual, monthly, or continuous monthly membership!
Your Facility Plus Child or Family Membership will give you access to child minding at Commonwealth and Kinsmen.
Your All Facility Child or Family Membership will give you access to all child minding locations (Clareview, The Meadows, Commonwealth, Terwillegar, and Kinsmen).
