What Do I Need to Submit a Request
To submit your request you may need:
Your cart serial number. This is the 9-digit code on the front of your cart (example: 2RC 123456). You can still report a lost or stolen cart without its serial number.
Your EPCOR account number. This is the 8-digit number on your EPCOR bill. If you are a renter and don’t have an account number, you can still request cart repairs and report a lost cart. To request a cart size exchange, speak with your landlord or property manager. They may have to submit the request on your behalf.
Damaged food scraps pail? Take your clean, empty pail to an Eco Station and we’ll exchange it for a new one as part of the manufacturer warranty program. We do not replace lost food scraps pails. You can purchase a new one from a variety of stores or repurpose an old pail or container.
Cart Size Exchange
Submit a cart exchange request to change the size of your garbage cart:
Upsize to a large (240L) cart
Downsize to a small (120L) cart
Downsize your excess waste (360L) cart (To upsize to an excess waste (360L) cart, visit Excess Waste Program)
Utility rates are based on garbage cart size. Your new rate will take effect on the day you receive your new cart. Save $5 a month with a small cart!
Cart exchanges are generally completed within 5 business days of your request. Your first exchange is free. Afterwards, an administrative fee of $18.50 will be applied.
Please note: Size exchanges are available for garbage carts only. Food scraps carts come in one size (120L).
If you are unsure which cart is best for you, we highly recommend you use the large cart for weeks to be sure before submitting the cart size exchange request.

Lost or Stolen Carts
Report your cart as lost or stolen. It generally takes 5 business days to replace your cart, or reunite you with your lost cart. Replacement is free, but recurring lost or stolen cart reports may result in an investigation and service fees.
