LRT Messaging Boards

LRT Messaging Boards are installed at many LRT stations on the concourse and platform level. These messaging boards contain visual elements that help transit riders identify Track 1 and Track 2, see the end destination (Clareview or Century Park), and know when the next train will arrive (in minutes).

The scrolling texts along the bottom of the signs are regularly updated with ETS-related news, such as elevator and escalator outages, current weather, ETS contact information and more.

Note: ETS is now live testing software updates to the arrival signs. If live testing goes well, the signs will remain on. If adjustments are required, the signs may be temporarily unavailable.

Wi-Fi now available at all Capital Line LRT stations

The City of Edmonton is now offering Wi-Fi service at all Capital Line LRT stations at the platform level. Your Open City Wi-Fi sign-on is the same as other City-owned public Wi-Fi locations. Users can access the free public Wi-Fi by selecting Open City Wi-Fi from the list of wireless networks on their devices. Users are expected to read and agree with the Terms and Conditions of Use before being granted access to Open City WiFi.
