Starting in April 2022, crews will be upgrading elevators at a number of Capital Line stations and replacing escalators at Central Station.

Starting April 6, crews will be working on upgrades for both elevators at Bay/Enterprise Square Station. This work is expected to be completed in approximately 3 months. Stairs/escalators will remain open.

The west platform to concourse escalator at Central Station will also be out of service from May 16 until late-October 2022. Please use the stairs, elevator, or the escalator located on the east side of the platform to access/exit the platform.

The following are LRT escalators and elevators that are currently out of service. To report required maintenance, please call 311.

Outages

Below are the real-time reports for LRT escalators and elevators that are out of service. At this time there is no automated detection for elevator failures.

LRT Messaging Boards

LRT Messaging Boards are installed at many LRT stations on the concourse and platform level. These messaging boards contain visual elements that help transit riders identify Track 1 and Track 2, see the end destination (Clareview or Century Park), and know when the next train will arrive (in minutes).

The scrolling texts along the bottom of the signs are regularly updated with ETS-related news, such as elevator and escalator outages, current weather, ETS contact information and more.

Note: ETS is now live testing software updates to the arrival signs. If live testing goes well, the signs will remain on. If adjustments are required, the signs may be temporarily unavailable.

Requesting Assistance

Should you arrive at an elevator that is out of service and require assistance please call 311. You may also use any of the available security features (Blue Emergency Phones, Direct Access Phones, Emergency Push Buttons) on the system to initiate communication with ETS staff.
