Family Day Fun PhotoFamily Day Fun!

Pay at the door or purchase tickets ahead of time 

Bundle up your family and 'Get Closer' for some Family Day Fun! Stay warm while you visit the Polar Bear craft table (indoors) or participate in the Animal Families scavenger hunt indoors and out! Learn why the Edmonton Valley Zoo is an Arctic Ambassador Centre for Polar Bears International and visit our free photo booth to take home a family memory!

Hop to It! Easter Monday

Date: Monday April 17, 2017
Time: 12-4pm
Cost: General Admission

It’s an EGG-stravagent Easter event! Hands-on science experiments, crafts, airbrushed tattoos, touch table, and a scavenger hunt all EGG-related! 'Get Closer' with various animal encounters and watch as the resident animals of the zoo go on their very own Easter egg hunt! Which animals will eat the eggs, play with them, or smash them?

Adult Events

Pre-registration is required for these events. Register online, in person at a Recreation Centre or City Attraction, or by calling 311. Course code needed when registering.

Our first in a new series of art-making evenings! Delight your special someone by joining us on Valentine’s Day as we create an animal-themed painting while enjoying a glass of wine and some appetizers. And of course, 'Get Closer' to some of our Zoo’s charmers with some animal encounters!

Wine & Wildlife - Coyotes!

Coyotes have long lived in and around the City of Edmonton, but mostly in the green spaces of the river valley. As we have expanded into coyote habitat, coyotes have adapted to expand into urban neighbourhoods. Enjoy a glass of wine and some appetizers while finding out more about how to coexist with these amazing animals!
