Changes to Parking Rates and Hours

Effective May 1, 2023, the EPark program will be updated to be responsive to better accommodate the current parking demand and cater to the needs of a rapidly expanding city. These changes include:

  • Operating hours in EPark zones will be in effect from 8am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and from 10am to 5pm Sunday
  • Free curbside parking will be adjusted from 30 to 15 minutes
  • Hourly parking rates will increase from $3.50 to $4.50 in the following high-demand parking areas (4% of EPark stalls in Edmonton) including:
    • Rice Howard Way
    • 103 Street between 102 Ave and 103 Ave
    • 104 Street between Jasper Ave and 104 Ave
  • EPark zones in low performing areas will be removed and replaced with 2 or 3 hour maximum parking zones, see EPark FAQ for locations
  • Monthly parking rates will increase to $350 + GST from $315 at city-owned parkades

Starting June 1, thirteen new EPark zones at a rate of $1.00 per hour will be added to help increase turnover and free up available stalls. The locations will include:

  • 3 zones in the 124 Street Business Improvement Area,
  • 5 zones in the Old Strathcona Business Improvement Area,
  • 2 zones in the Kingsway Business Improvement Area, and
