With the intent to attract industrial investment and diversify Edmonton’s economy, the City’s Land Development Team plans, designs and delivers industrial sites to open opportunities for industrial development within developing and redeveloping areas of Edmonton.
9460 41 Avenue SW
This site is being evaluated for industrial uses.
The City owns approximately 61 acres of commercial and industrial land and 243 acres of residential land which will be developed over 16 phases in this neighbourhood. In order to progress development, the City will be submitting an amendment to the Goodridge Corners NASP in 2023.
Phase 3 will be subdivided to make way for 112 units of Residential Mixed Dwelling development. Design will occur in Q2 of 2023.
The Phase 3 Rezoning (Charter Bylaw 20465) was approved by City Council on May 15, 2023.
This site is being evaluated for reconfiguration of the existing uses and the addition of business industrial uses.
14545-157 Avenue NW
In order to progress development in this area, an amendment to the Rampart Industrial Area Structure Plan will be submitted in 2023. Additionally, some initial grading work and the connection from 157 avenue to Campbell Road will be carried out over 2023-2025. Construction anticipated to commence Q2 2023.
