Please make sure you dispose of your used disposable masks and/or gloves into a waste bin. If one is not available, store your used materials in a plastic bag until they can be disposed of properly.

Route Detours

Route 52

Starting Monday, December 21, 2020, bus route 52 will be on detour for approximately one year due to Duggan Bridge Replacement work. 

During this construction, this route will not stop at the following bus stops:

  • #2768 (109 Street and Saskatchewan Drive EB), #2899 (107 Steet and Saskatchewan Drive EB) and #2797 (105 Steet and Saskatchewan Drive EB)
    • Please use #22732 (104 Street and Saskatchewan Drive SB) 
  • #1567 (109 Street and 97 Avenue SB)
    • From 6am-6:15pm on Mondays-Saturdays, please use #1728 (106 Street and 96 Avenue SB)
    • After 6:15pm on Mondays-Saturdays, as well on Sundays, board/exit at bus stop #1021 (Rossdale Road and 96 Avenue NB)
  • #1425 (106 Street and 97 Avenue WB)
    • Monday-Saturday after 6:15pm and on Sundays (all day), please use bus stop #1021 (Rossdale Road and 96 Avenue NB)

Bus Stop Closures

Bus Stop #1812 Permanently Closed

Due to newly allocated street parking at 111 Street and Jasper Avenue westbound, this bus stop is permanently closed.

Please use Bus Stops #1840 (112 Street and Jasper Avenue WB) or #1818 (109 Street and Jasper Avenue WB) to board/exit your bus.

University Transit Centre Bus Stop Closed

Bus stop #2001 will be closed at University Transit Centre for the duration of campus construction taking place near the transit centre. Passengers can use bus stop #2002 south of the transit centre to board Routes 4, 51, 54, 106 and 318.

Park & Ride

Stadium Paid Park & Ride Lot Changes

A portion of the Paid Park & Ride lot at Stadium Station will be closed until fall 2021 to help accommodate the Stadium LRT Station Redevelopment project. Current customers will be able to continue parking in this lot, but you may need to walk slightly further to get to the station.

Service Changes

Capital/Metro Line Trains

From October 5 until spring 2021, unless otherwise indicated, Capital and Metro Line trains will run every 15 minutes. This will result in 15-minute frequency between Churchill and Clareview, and between Churchill and NAIT. Frequency will average every 7.5 minutes from Churchill to Century Park.

Metro Line trains will continue to run between Century Park and NAIT from Monday-Saturday. On Sunday, Metro Line trains run between Health Sciences/Jubilee and NAIT.

The City of Edmonton continues to work with the contractor to fix the arrival signs and announcements.
