The following are LRT escalators and elevators that are currently out of service. To report required maintenance, please call 311.

HUB Entrance Renewals

From June 17 to 28, 2017, crews are completing renovations throughout the east side of University LRT station at the Hub Mall south entrance (112 Street and 89 Avenue). The LRT pedway to Hub Mall will be closed, plus the east elevators and escalators located on this side of the station. For everyone’s safety, please stay alert near scaffolded areas while crews complete work.

Transit users are strongly recommended to use the 114 Street and 89 Avenue north and south entrances on the west side of the station. If you require elevator access, use the elevator (#112) located by the south 114 Street and 89 Avenue entrance. On site-signage is available to assist riders. The scope of work involves painting, cleaning, electrical maintenance and replacing elevator flooring.

Corona Station: Planned Elevator Outage

On June 24 until 9pm on June 25, the platform level elevator at Corona station will be temporarily out of service while crews replace the elevator flooring. LRT users requiring elevator access will need to take a bus on Jasper Avenue to Bay/Enterprise Square station.

To exit the LRT, passengers will need to stop at Bay/Enterprise Square station instead and take a bus on Jasper Avenue to Corona station. Use bus routes 1, 2, 5, 111 or 120.

Below are the real-time reports for LRT escalators and elevators that are out of service. At this time there is no automated detection for elevator failures.

LRT Messaging Boards

LRT Messaging Boards are installed at many LRT stations on the concourse and platform level. These messaging boards contain visual elements that help transit riders identify Track 1 and Track 2, see the end destination (Clareview or Century Park), and know when the next train will arrive (in minutes).

The scrolling texts along the bottom of the signs are regularly updated with ETS-related news, such as elevator and escalator outages, current weather, ETS contact information and more.

Note: ETS is now live testing software updates to the arrival signs. If live testing goes well, the signs will remain on. If adjustments are required, the signs may be temporarily unavailable.

Requesting Assistance

Should you arrive at an elevator that is out of service and require assistance please call 311. You may also use any of the available security features (Blue Emergency Phones, Direct Access Phones, Emergency Push Buttons) on the system to initiate communication with ETS staff.
