City of Edmonton

The City of Edmonton is divided into 12 wards, each represented by a single Councillor. The Mayor is elected by a city-wide vote.

2016 Ward Boundary Correction

On September 20, 2016, City Council (Item 7.6) passed first reading of Bylaw 17700, an update to the ward boundaries as recommended by the Returning Officer.

A Non-Statutory Public Hearing for discussion on the ward boundary corrections will be held at the October 18, 2016, Executive Committee meeting, at 1:30pm.

There are 9 Edmonton Public School Board wards.

They are Wards A - I.
