Sisters in Spirit Day honours the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people, supports grieving families and loved ones and creates opportunities for healing. Vigils and community events are organized and held across Canada, often including a ceremony and walk-in commemoration.
If you are hosting your own community vigil/event, register to receive a Vigil Kit, which includes balloons, flags and pins.
To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of your organization/community/group and your mailing address. Please provide the name, date, and time of your event, contact phone number and mailing address.
Light a candle and place it in a home window on the evening of October 4
