The Client Liaison Unit provides enhanced service for complex, unique projects which support the Big City Moves in the City Plan and the principles in the Economic Action Plan.
We support your projects by working with you in partnership to advance complete permit application packages that can improve your overall project predictability and timelines.
Through the Client Liaison Unit's enhanced service, we offer:

A project management approach focused on outcomes, not processes.
We provide ongoing support and enhanced customer service for major development projects. Enhanced service provided based on the following criteria:
Projects supporting the City’s vision for growth in The City Plan (such as nodes and corridors or proximity to LRT and other mass transit modes) or shovel-ready commercial or industrial projects.
Projects with plans to build on un-serviced land which require new utilities and infrastructure or the use of new technology that affects the construction design and construction methodology required.
Projects which provide immediate investment opportunities through factors such as job creation, increased tax revenue, and built-form outcomes.
If your project meets these criteria, please contact the Client Liaison Unit with your project scope and rationale. A client liaison advisor will reach out to you to review your project details. Each project is assessed on an individual basis to determine project fit and level of support.
