Celebrate the arrival of summer by splashing your day away at Splash Day in the heart of Edmonton!

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the City Hall Fountain for the season! We have a fun day in store. 

Pack your sunscreen and towel and head to the Arts District at City Hall Plaza and Sir Winston Churchill Square for this free, family-friendly event.

Other Scheduled Activities

  • Join the Edmonton Public Library for activities and other artist-led crafts on the plaza
  • The Edmonton Arts Council will have activities and games including table tennis, basketball, street hockey, large format chess and checkers, Jenga and giant Lego
  • Inside City Hall, enjoy a Miles Davis Jazz Concert with Biboye Onanuga at 1:30pm, followed by a relaxing gong-centred sound bath led by Kevin Gaudet at 3pm
  • Purchase a delicious meal or snack from one of the food trucks on site, and enjoy a free drink from The Hallway Café
