Give wheels a whirl at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market!
What: Every Saturday from June 1 to September 28, the City of Edmonton Bike Street Team will be hosting free Ride Alongs to show new and veteran cyclists how to safely navigate the new protected bike routes.
The Ride Along will help cyclists to explore new route connections, understand how to use the protected cycling infrastructure and suggest the best ways to get around the city’s core on two wheels.
Ride Alongs will depart from the Farmers' Market at 10am and run approximately 1.5 hours.
Who: This event is open to cyclists that have the ability and skill-set to keep up with a group ride of approximately 5-10kms in distance. All cyclists should be able to ride single-handed and be able to complete hand signals while riding.
All cyclists should come prepared to ride. Helmets and bikes will not be provided.

Can't make it to our Farmers' Market Ride Alongs? Don't worry, you can request to book an alternate ride along time with our street team.
Please note that Ride Alongs will be cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions, such as a weather advisories from Environment Canada, thunder and lightning storms, or extreme heat. You will be notified via the contact info you have provided us with if the Ride Along is cancelled, and have the opportunity to reschedule. Ride Alongs may be cancelled up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time.
