A planning application (map) has been received for rezoning at 11111 101 Street NW, 9720 111 Avenue NW, 9728 111 Avenue NW, and 9730 111 Avenue NW.
The proposed application is to rezone from Small Scale Infill Development (RF3) and General Business Zone (CB2), to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2). This would allow for a development with two buildings.
The building along 111 Avenue NW would feature at-grade commercial space with entrances facing towards the street engaging people who walk by, and a second storey with commercial office space, with the top two storeys as residential space.
A building at the rear of the site would be up to three storeys, featuring living and working space. Parking will be provided underground, and at grade to the rear of the buildings under the second storey.
This application also includes a road closure (map) along 111 Avenue NW. This would legally close the lane between the two parcels subject to the rezoning, and would be consolidated and rezoned as a single site.
