Ahas been proposed to rezone a property at 1451 50 Street SW.
The current zone is Agricultural Zone (AG).
The proposed zones are Metropolitan Recreation Zone (A), General Business Zone (CB2), Natural Area Protection Zone (NA), Public Utility Zone (PU), Medium-Rise Apartment Zone (RA8), Residential Mixed Dwelling Zone (RMD), and Urban Services Zone (US).
The proposed RMD and RA8 zones will allow for low and high-density residential development. The proposed CB2 zone will provide for businesses that require large sites with good visibility along major public roadways, and limited opportunities for residential development.
The proposed A and NA zones will allow for the preservation of natural areas, the proposed US zone will allow for a school and park site, and the proposed PU zone will allow for a stormwater management facility.
