The application proposes to rezone the properties from a Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2) to a revised Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).

The existing Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2.977) allows for residential and related uses in Areas A and B, and a range of residential and commercial uses in Area C.

The  proposed DC2 Provision would change the existing DC2 Provision to allow for:

  • A reduction in the minimum density from 63 dwelling units per hectare to 58 dwelling units per hectare; and
  • The addition of residential sales centre, major home-based business, and minor home-based business uses to Areas A and B (as shown on the DC2.977 Appendices)
  • Note: The current regulations for the site already allow residential sales centre, major home-based business, and minor home-based business uses in Area C
