The proposed rezoning is from Public Parks Zone (AP), Public Utility Zone (PU), Low Rise Apartment Zone (RA7) and Residential Small Lot Zone (RSL) to Public Parks Zone (AP), Public Utility Zone (PU), Residential Low-Density Zone (RLD) and Medium Rise Apartment Zone (RA8).
Thewould allow for the development of walkways, a stormwater management facility and low-density residential housing, 6 storey apartment buildings with the opportunity for limited commercial uses, such as:
- Child care services
- General retail and office services, at street level

Edmontonians were invited to share their feedback on this proposed rezoning through the City’s online virtual engagement tool from October 4 to October 24, 2021.
Input from Edmontonians will be used to ensure the review of the application takes local context into consideration and is as complete as possible. Feedback will also be summarized in the report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to a future City Council Public Hearing for a decision.
