Ahas been received for a property at 7604 83 Avenue NW.
The proposed RF3 Zone would allow for a mix of small-scale housing such as single detached housing, semi-detached housing or multi-unit housing up to approximately four or five principal dwellings.
The Mature Neighbourhood Overlay would help ensure future development is compatible with the context of existing surrounding buildings and also maintain the pedestrian-oriented design of the streetscape.
This is the third attempt to rezone this property to the RF3 Zone in the last few years. The previous two rezoning applications were refused by City Council:
