The application proposed to rezone the property from the Single Detached Residential Zone (RF1) to the Small-Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3).
The purpose of the Small-Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3) is to provide for a mix of small-scale housing, such as single detached housing, semi-detached housing and small-scale multi-unit housing. This list of uses is not complete.
The Mature Neighbourhood Overlay (MNO) would continue to apply to the site if it is rezoned to RF3. The MNO in conjunction with the RF3 Zone would help ensure that future development is compatible within the context of existing surrounding buildings and would also maintain the pedestrian-oriented design of the streetscape.
