Public Hearings for planning applications are being held remotely, and opportunities are being provided to allow the public to submit their comments/concerns either in writing or by registering to speak remotely.

A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 1830 153 Avenue NW.

The application proposes to rezone portions of the property from Agricultural Zone (AG) and Industrial Reserve Zone (AGI) to Low-Intensity Business Zone (CB1), Natural Area Protection Zone (NA), Public Utility Zone (PU), Low Rise Apartment Zone (RA7), Semi-detached Residential Zone (RF4) and Row Housing Zone (RF5)

These zones allow for the development of commercial uses, the protection of a tree stand, a stormwater management facility, and apartment housing, semi-detached housing and row housing. The proposed rezoning is in accordance with the Gorman Neighbourhood Structure Plan.
