for rezoning has been received for a property at 608 75 Street SW.The current zoning is the Rural Residential Zone (RR), which regulates existing country residential areas.
The proposed zoning is the Low-Rise Apartment Zone (RA7), which would allow for:
- Multi-unit housing up to 16 metres in height (approximately 4 storeys)
- A maximum Floor Area Ratio of 2.3
- Limited commercial opportunities on the ground floor, such as child care services, general retail stores, and specialty food services
An associated application has been made to amend the Ellerslie Area Structure Plan (ASP) and Ellerslie Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP) to align with the proposed rezoning.
The proposed ASP and NSP amendments would also designate future land uses (commercial and medium-density residential) for properties along the 75 Street SW cul-de-sac north of Ellerslie Road.
