The purpose of the proposed Low-Intensity Business Zone (CB1) is to provide for low-intensity commercial, office and service uses, and limited residential-related uses located along arterial roadways that border residential areas.
This zone is very similar to the current Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC) but allows for a slightly larger building (maximum height would increase from 10 to 12 metres) and an expanded list of permitted and discretionary uses.
