A planning application (map) has been proposed to rezone properties at 280 Saddleback Road NW, 280C Saddleback Road NW, 320 Saddleback Road NW, and 348 Saddleback Road NW.

The current zoning is Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC).

The proposed zoning is Shopping Centre Zone (CSC), which would allow for shopping centre uses with a maximum building height of 16 metres (approximately 4 storeys).

The applicant intends to expand the list of commercial uses allowed on site.

The Kaskitayo Outline Plan is in effect for this area. The plan supports grouping shopping centres near school sites to create an activity hub for the community.
