This application proposes to rezone a portion of the site from the Municipal Airport Airfield Zone (MA1) to the Blatchford Row Housing Zone (RBH) and the Blatchford Park Zone (BP).
The purpose of the proposed BRH Zone is to provide for medium density street oriented multi-unit housing, in the form of row housing and stacked row housing, which is developed in a manner characteristic of urban settings, including but not limited to smaller yards, greater height, and dwellings with individual access at ground level.
The purpose of the BP Zone is to provide for primarily active and passive recreation, the preservation of landmark structures, and other complementary uses of public land and publicly accessible private land, including low-impact development features. Where ownership is held privately, public access will be established through public access easements.
