The City is proposing to rezone a significant portion of the Station Pointe site fromto the standard zones of . The goal of this change is to allow more options for development at Station Pointe. This change would mean a move towards lower density townhomes and low and medium rise apartments rather than the original high rise residential envisioned for the site.

Edmontonians are invited to a drop-in engagement session to learn more about the proposed rezoning.

The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed rezoning and share feedback with the City. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to a future Public Hearing for a decision.
An associated application has been made to amend the Belvedere Station Area Redevelopment Plan, the Fort Road Old Town Master Plan and the Fort Road Old Town Master Plan Implementation Report to facilitate the above rezoning.
