Proposed rezoning along 104 Street NW north of Jasper Avenue NW to allow for a high-rise, mixed-use tower.

A planning application has been received for land located along 104 Street NW north of Jasper Avenue NW.  This proposal includes 10145 and 10149 104 Street NW.  

The proposed rezoning, from Heritage Area Zone (HA) and Special Area Downtown Overlay to Site-Specific Development Control Provision (DC2), would allow for the development of a mixed-use tower with commercial/retail uses within the lower base structure, and hotel and residential uses within the tower above. The site is currently functioning as a two-storey commercial building and surface parking lot.

Public Engagement Session

Citizens were invited to a drop-in engagement session on February 26, 2019 to learn more about the proposed rezoning and development of a high-rise mixed use tower along 104 Street north of Jasper Avenue in the Downtown neighbourhood.

Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to Public Hearing for a decision.
