On Demand Transit service is available for riders in 49 communities and 16 seniors’ residences who do not have a regular bus route.
Edmonton Transit Service’s (ETS) new On Demand Transit service adds a new layer of service in our integrated transit network.
Starting April 24, 2022:
- On Demand Transit is adding service to the following neighbourhoods: Uplands, Stillwater, Glenridding Ravine, Balwin, as well as portions of Albany, Canossa, Rapperswill, Chambery, Elsinore, Klarvatten and Kinglet Gardens.
- On Demand Transit bus stops will also be added to Cavanagh and Henderson Estates.
- On Demand Transit riders going to/from the Montrose community can request service to/from Belvedere Transit Centre.

If you want to plan a trip that includes a connection between On Demand Transit and the regular transit network, the third-party Transit app will provide options. Note: you will still need the Edmonton On Demand app to book the On Demand portion of your trip.
On Demand Transit telephones are now available at some transit centres and LRT stations to book a return trip.
