Just as Edmonton has steadily grown, so has ETS ridership. ETS is dedicated to ensuring that public transportation supports city growth now and in the future. There are a number of projects for both bus and LRT currently underway to help manage traffic congestion and improve travel options throughout the city.

The facility will hold a 300 bus garage, administrative & operational space, and a credit union.
The LRT is being extended to link downtown to southeast Edmonton and west Edmonton.
The Metro Line is a 3.3 km extension from Churchill LRT Station in downtown Edmonton northwest to NAIT.
ETS is developing a plan to retrofit all remaining buses in its fleet with Smart Bus technology.
