About the Service

The City of Edmonton and its residents are responsible to maintain and clear sidewalks of snow and ice during the winter season as outlined in the Snow and Ice Control policy. Failure to maintain walks could result in a $100 fine and cleanup costs. Warnings are a courtesy and will not always be issued.
