Our Free Tenant Empowerment Certificate Course is a 6-week course. It will give you knowledge and tools to find and keep housing that works for you. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate recognized by local housing providers.

Please note, you need to show up in person to take this course.

Time Commitment
Six sessions, 12 hours (2.5 hours per week, including a half-hour break).

  • Your rights and responsibilities as a tenant
  • The responsibilities of your landlord
  • Learn how to communicate effectively with your landlord
  • How to make the most of your money and find savings
  • How to create a safe home
  • How to navigate the application process

Each session will be held on a Thursday.

*Note: The Basic Course is not a requirement for this course.
