School Bike Parking Grant Application Form

A total of $75,000 has been allocated to enhance the security of bike parking at schools within Edmonton through the School Bike Parking Grant. Each school may apply to receive up to $15,000 to create or improve their bike parking facilities.

This program offers one-time funding. Funding requests must be between $500 - $15,000.

Application deadline is Tuesday April 30, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Grant Priorities

Increase secure bike parking solutions and to encourage cycling to and from school
Reduce risks of bike theft and address security barriers to students cycling to and from school
Make cycling to and from school possible for more students and administrators in support of Edmonton’s target of 50 per cent of trips completed by active and sustainable transportation
