The Community League Infrastructure Program (CLIP) provides funding assistance to community leagues for capital costs to preserve and enhance existing facilities that provide an overall benefit to the community and value to the citizens of Edmonton.
Community League Infrastructure Program (CLIP) grant priorities in 2023 will be focused on rehab and renovation projects that address:
- Address issues identified in a facility assessment (Stantec or other assessment)
- Address health, safety and accessibility concerns
- Are a collaboration/partnership between leagues to bring an identified needed amenity to an area of the city
- Provide an amenity that is lacking in that area of the city, and has been identified as a community need (for example, new CL building)
- Address climate resilience through energy efficiency upgrades
There are 3 different CLIP grant programs available:
- Project Planning Grant Program
- Standard Project Grant Program
- Completed Project Grant Program
