Kids at Hope inspires, empowers and transforms communities to create an environment where all children experience success.
It is an approach to interacting with children and youth that is based on the belief that all kids are capable of success, no exceptions.
Kids at Hope begins with caring adults
Children grow up more optimistic, hopeful and successful when they are surrounded by adults who believe in them.
All City playground, water spray park and program staff have been trained in Kids at Hope.
This summer, our playground and program staff will provide a place where all children and youth are accepted for their strengths, talents and interests.
- Provide opportunities for children and youth to enjoy sports, recreation, and arts and crafts
- Provide activities that give kids opportunities for success and themes that encourage them to think about their futures
- Challenge and support young people to imagine and plan for the kind of person they want to be as an adult
