Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) provides Park & Ride service for select major events and concerts at Commonwealth Stadium. All Commonwealth Stadium Park & Ride service starts 2 hours before the event starts and ends once the stadium clears after the event. For service to Edmonton Elks home games, please visit our Football Park & Ride page.
For Park & Ride buses, transit customers will need to pay the Special Event Two-Way Fare of $6 (or other accepted fare).
Regular fares apply for regular bus routes and Capital/Metro LRT service.
To ensure a smooth and safe transit journey for everyone, please have your fare ready before you start your trip. Operators and ETS staff do not carry change or fare products.
To buy a book of 10 bus tickets or a Family/Day pass, you can go to one of many sales outlets across the city.
Bus routes 2 and 101 travel near Stadium Transit Centre.
Please note that bus route 3 will be on detour during these events. From 5-11pm on event days, this route will use temporary bus stops on 86 Street/112 Avenue.
You can also take a Capital Line train to Stadium LRT Station.
Capital Line LRT service is increased for these events starting 90 minutes prior to the start time. Catch the Capital or Metro Line LRT, and get off at Stadium Station for a short walk to Commonwealth Stadium.
During major events at Commonwealth Stadium, a residential parking ban goes into effect. Parking is restricted on all signed streets from the two hours before the game starts until the game ends.start of the game and for the next two hours. Any vehicle not displaying a valid residential parking permit will be tagged and towed at the owner's expense.
Please Note: Parking is restricted around Commonwealth Stadium and the LRT Station. Signs are posted at these locations.
