Based on feedback from riders, ETS has made numerous adjustments to the bus network since launching in April 2021. ETS will continue to monitor and determine future adjustments to keep the bus network reflecting the needs of our growing city. Here is a listing of the service adjustments ETS has made so far.
Schedule adjustments to bus routes 2 and 101 to allow for better connections between these routes at Stadium Transit Centre in both directions.
Route 118: Bus stop added at 92 Street/163 Avenue for buses travelling from Eaux Claires Transit Centre to West Clareview Transit Centre
Route 700X: Two bus stops added:
Bus Stop #9444 (111 Street & Ellerslie Road SW)
Bus Stop #9038 (115 Street & Ellerslie Road SW)
Route 903: Schedule adjustments trips to allow for better connections with Route 701 at Kingsway Transit Centre
On Demand Transit service expands to the following neighbourhoods: Uplands, Stillwater, Glenridding Ravine, Balwin, as well as portions of Albany, Canossa, Rapperswill, Chambery, Elsinore, Klarvatten and Kinglet Gardens.
On Demand Transit bus stops added to Cavanagh and Henderson Estates.
On Demand Transit connections for Montrose Heights to Belvedere Transit Centre.
Stony Plain Road shuttle - serves communities along Stony Plain Road between Jasper Place Transit Centre and Unity Square (116 Street and 104 Avenue) to provide riders with consistent and reliable transit during Valley Line West construction.
Route 111 - looped into the Kingsway Mall parking lot from both directions improving service and accessibility to Kingsway Mall.
Route 519 - rerouted from 50 Street to 66 Street north of Ellerslie Road between Mill Woods Transit Centre and Ellerslie Road and 54 Street. This improved service coverage and reduced walking distances for residents in neighbourhoods adjacent to 66 Street and Ellerslie Road.
Additional schedule adjustments were made in response to traffic patterns, ridership demand, feedback from riders and construction activity.
Additional bus stops added to On Demand Transit service, including:
Fort Edmonton Park to reduce the walking distance from Fox Drive.
Breckenridge Greens to compensate for the Route 922 detour.
South Brookside to decrease walking distance for passengers and provide better service.
