The 2021 Root for Trees season is now complete. We worked with nearly 1500 volunteers this season, and planted just over 15,000 trees, shrubs, and wildflowers.
Thank you, Edmontonians, for helping to expand our urban forest! Please check back in the new year to learn more about the planting events planned for 2022, and when bookings will open again!
Facilitated by a Program Leader, guided plantings are fun, inclusive and hands-on educational opportunities in nature. This group volunteer opportunity is perfect for team building. All public health directions must be followed while volunteering.
Root for Trees provides:
A Program Leader who guides a planting demonstration, safety talk, and shares interesting facts about Edmonton's urban forest
